UPPER LIP LIFT OR LIP LIFT
The different cases in which a lip lift may be recommended
1° The lip lift can be indicated in the case of a very thin and not very marked upper lip, giving a sad and severe aspect to the face in some people. In these patients, the lip lift will aim to enlarge the size and volume of the upper lip. The face will then appear brighter and less sad. The result is an excellent substitute for hyaluronic acid injections in the lips. This procedure is ideal for patients who wish to obtain a fuller, more natural looking mouth.
2° Lip lift surgery can also be performed when the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip is too great.
3° As part of a rhinoplasty and in order to harmonise the lower face, this surgery can also be proposed

COURSE OF THE PROCEDURE :

The principle is to remove a crescent of skin at the base of the columella. The scar is hidden at the base of the nose and will be discreet and then invisible after a few weeks. The surgeon must be meticulous and experienced as the secret is to properly dock the deep tissues to the jawbone .

Information :
*Smoking must be stopped before the operation.
*The non-absorbable sutures are removed 7 days after the operation.
*The operation is performed under local anaesthetic with or without light sedation
